The benefits of good nutrition are numerous, and even
more so for dancers. Constant training takes a toll
on muscles, joints and bones. Good eating habits can
improve the recovery from such strain, and even assist
with lean muscle growth and soft tissue repair. Eating the
right foods can increase energy, focus and concentration.
Finding the proper balance of nutrients not only prevents
fatigue and injury, but also supports a long healthy
career in dance.

Create a daily food journal recording everything you eat and drink during the week of February 29 - March 4, 2016. You can record your entries into the same post but be sure to label each day separately. Here is an example of how you might arrange your information.
At the end of each day compare the number of servings you ate in each food group with the number of servings recommended. Did you eat more or less servings? How might you adjust your eating habits to eat healthier? Write down your reflection in your blog post. You should have a reflection for each day in your journal.
